1st Trip To Train In Thailand
Hello I'm planning my first trip to train in Thai land, I'm looking at going for the entire month of september, I've been training for about 4 years pretty consistently during that time I've been apart of the advanced level class at my gym, sparring and helping fighters get ready for fights, I also teach the AM cardio bag class. I'm planning on on going to train for a month and want to train at 2 different camps for 10 days each leaving a 10 days for travel time and sightseeing, I'm planning on traing at Santai in Chaing Mai on recommendation from the kru of my gym I go to and rawai in khao lak, based on my own research. Any tips are greatly appreciated, ill be flying in to BKK because its the cheapest option and making my way to chaing mai from there, and to kao lok after that.
The night train to Chiang Mai is nice. Also, do some shopping in BKK for gloves and such if you can use anything.
Try ladyboy cock
yeah my coach recommended the twins and top king store at lumpinee stadium, the train is like 12 hours I hear and a flight is only 40$ usd, Thanks for the tip @mylittletony
@vlad I'm good thanks anyway
go to action zone in bkk.
thanks ill check it out!
ssinbi or sitsongpeenong rawaii and surin based
Tony, the night train is nice indeed but if you only have a month I wouldn't waste my time on it and just fly
I would go to a big name BKK camp, but then again if ou want to have some holiday feel about your trip maybe the south or Chiang Mai is better
yeah I want more of a vacation feel but still want quality instructors, santai in chaing mai was recommended by my Kru, and rawai looks really nice, thanks all for the tips
problem with most Chiang Mai gyms is that they are far away from the touristic city center, they are in boring areas.
i don't know about Santa but you should look it up on a map, the city center is surrounded by a square moat.
I like Chay Yai gym in CM but as written above, I don't like the location, smae goes for Lanna
September lainy velly mut, too mut lain.
ur either partying or training .
yeah I've heard septmeber is the rainy season its the soonest I can leave and I don't want to wait longer, I would leave tomorrow if I could.... any tips on getting a good exchange rate? google has the rate at 33.75 baht to 1 US dollar, but the best rate I could find was from bank of america at 31.67 baht to the dollar. is it better to exchange in Thailand or buy baht before I leave?
i dont exchange I just redraw once in Thailand.
I was in Chiang mai in september and we had some heavy rain from time to time but most of the time it was dry, and even if it rains it dires fast.
The nice thing about the surrounding areas of CM is tht everything is nice and green just after rainining season while in the dry season everything looks dead and yellow
