Anyone Come Accross This One? (foot)
Recently I've been getting slight numbness and tingling, like pins & needles in my foot whilst and after kicking bags/pads.
Then today after kicking pads it happened again but much stronger. I did a couple of laps of the gym to try and walk it off then noticed that the top of my foot was going purple and blackening very quickly including my big toe so I figured I'd broken something.
I sat down massaged it a bit and the dark colours disappeared , I did another lap of the gym and the throbbing stopped. I went on the bag to finish, did knees and teeps but no kicks. The bruising had totally gone and hasn't returned, it's not painful to touch anywhere and I can walk around normally with it. Any Ideas please guys as I'm totally stumped?
Had numbness in my elbow for a while, figured it was a trapped nerve, ran down into one of my fingers.
Think it came about when elbowing the heavy bag. It eventually worked its way out after 6 months to a year, cant remember.
Pain comes and goes suddenly ... sounds like nerves
the numbness is trapped nerves, I had it in both arms due to trapped nerves around elbow joint.
Thanks, it did cross my mind that it could be nerve related but the but the bruising made me think otherwise. Maybe also something going on with a blood vessel.
Just an update.
When I trained the next day, at both sessions the numbing feeling came back and the whole foot was white with no blood. After stopping training it slowly went back to normal.
I've since had a week off and the same thing's happened today. None of my trainers have seen anything like it before, I'll keep going and see if anything changes for now.
Maybe thrombosis, how tall are you? have you worked in an occupation that requires you be on your feet alot
maybe compartment syndrome?
Stop training until you get checked out. Could be serious
go to a doctor
Sounds like a circulation issue to me. I get a very similar thing in the cold and I have poor peripheral circulation. But yea, go to a doctor mate

6" 1, and yes always on my feet. I'll go to the hospital tomorrow as it's still the same.
