Hey guys, I'm a guy who workout everyday since 6 years and played basket-ball a lot, I m in good overall shape but never did martial arts.
I want to go in Bangkok to train at a muay Thai gym for 1 month in Sept-Oct 2015.
Any suggestions to help me start my trip raining without going around too much? ( specific gym and accomodations near the gym)
Thank you

jcgregoire
My goals are to learn muay Thai while having a good workout to keep my physical shape.

marioyo
If you really beginner go to foreigners friendly gyms
Keatkhamtorn
Kiatpontip

Although I would choose sitjaopho in hua hin

I think Chiang mai is the best place for beginners but bangkok, erm I'd say try 5 gyms out man, some gyms can't cope with a bigger foreigner because their teaching style isn't what the foreigner wants.

Hawkman
Kiatphothip well used to foreigners by now, there is lots of accodomation offsite now and the whole area geared up towards students, 2 new malls and some nice restaurants around.

finnc99
Yeah gyms like kiatphontip or maybe sitmonchai cause they've had a lot of foreigners too who get a lot of attention, but it depends how the op feels because usually in bangkok they'll have high level foreigners and Thais and it can be intimidating for a beginner. I'd say kiatphontip also just because owned by Rob so easy communication and the prices are fair for good training.

Ok thank you guys! First I wanted to go to sitsongpeenong or elite fight club

It is nice to have some options..
One more question.. if I go to one of these gym in september you think there are chances
That there is a place for me to sleep.? I don t want to pay in advance for accomodations in case something happens

muaythaifocus
spetember is not usually a real busy month, you should be ok

mylittletony
I wouldn't go to bkk as a beginner.

jcgregoire
Somewhere else than bangkok then ? And why?

Rambutan
probably because BKK has a lot of top camps/fighters compared to other places catering to fighters, not really to fitness enthusiasts..

mylittletony
You will be learning the bare basics anyway, you don't need a championfactory for that. So you might as well choose a nicer place to stay (unless you enjoy being in bkk every day). I'd go to the islands or something.

jcgregoire
I plan to travel a lot.and come back other times.. so.i think this time.its.gonna be bangkok..
I look a kiatphontip and it looks.ok for me.. I have some studies.to do and for sure I would like to go out and get laid too..
Is there a gym whos known in bangkok where ypu can have a little fun around with a good training?

Vlad
You are planning to Do a lot which is nonsense
You go to Thailand
Get on Juice Train
Get some yaba alcohol fuck some pussy
Get a suit
Get a cock massage
Shut Up and do it
