Good News & Bad News

Hey!

I have two things to say that at first may not seem to, but are linked:

1) Good news (for you). I visited two camps not aded yet to the list, one of them incredibly cheap, small and perfect. I will review them and two more as soon as I figure out how to review camps not added yet.

2) Bad news (for me). Someone stole me 500€ in Koh Pha Ngan. Yes, aproximately 20.000 THB.

No comes where you lot should do something for me:

I had reserved oraly with a BKK gym to train and stay with them for a month. They reserved a room for me so everything perfect, but now my situation has changed. Iīm in trouble since my economy is serously damaged since that episode and I donīt know what to do.

I could email them and tell them to just train and leave the accomodation by my own, but thereīs absolutly nothing near Chimplee.

Besides, Iīd feel strange just breaking the deal we made.

Itīs my fourth time here and my 7th Camp so Iīm no novice, but I really donīt know what to do.

Rob Cox and all the veterans, speak up.

Could you explain or develope that idea?

Iīm afraid I donīt understand what you mean.

Rambutan
She should send you money, thats what he means.

Hobz
assuming you mean Kaewsamrit by chimplee.

The madam has ripped off enough foreigners so I wouldnt worry about her.

Just rent a room above the 7/11 on the way to the market 3,000baht a month and then just pay to train once a day. Work out a deal with the gym where you buy 10 sessions up front for like 3,000baht

Then food you could probs get by on 6,000baht a month.... hey presto your budget is 12,000 a month and your budget is back on track

rarave82
Good plan Hobz!

Just one question, why did you mention to train once a day?

kimbo
Whore yourself out. But yeah, Koh Pangan is full of thievery. Sorry to say.

Hobz
because the whole idea that you have to train twice a day is bullshit. You'll probs end up burning out and I don't think its a productive use of energy to do the same thing twice in a day.

Save yourself for the afternoon session, make it count and train hard, do 6 rounds on the pads and make the bag rounds count and do everything else. Ive never been to a gym where it looked like anyone was actually putting any effort into training in the morning apart from por pramuk gym and watching buakaw train in his hay day.

In the morning do a long run or sprints of some form of conditioning on your own.

Peace

rarave82
Thanks for the advice, it sounds better than my plan.

News:

Been this morning, the manager wasnīt there, nobody in charge. Just a few workers, like six or seven, and it seemed everything under construction. Remodeling or something.

Donīt know whatīs going on.

Hobz:

Couldnīt find de rooms for rent near the seven eleven. Went there and nobody knew anything.

muaythaifocus
think he means the 7-11 that is a bit away from the gym a good kilometre or two away, with apartments above, Wanmario used to stay there, don't know if he still does

Hobz
not a big deal tho you just jump on the baht bus takes about 5 minutes to get to the gym
