Hard Training In Begins!
Off to Phuket tomorrow, still deciding whether to train at Rawai Supa or Sinbi but leaning more to Supa, cannot wait! Last time I was a bit too casual and didn't put as much in as I could have and only in my last week did I kick into gear, this time I know the places to go, where to eat, what to eat, how to train, will be mixing a bit of scuba and snorkelling too.
The training plan so far is o do 2 Muay Thai sessions per day if possible and when I don't do 2 I will mix a class of Unit 27 or Titan Fitness into it, depending what ones they have as I want to beef myself up and not keep loosing weight, last time I was in good shape when I came back but work put an end to that! So lets hope for a good trip and some better training, if anyone is about Pm me.
Really impressed with the set up at AKA gym, plus they have some top fighters passing through from time to time.
Not so impressed with Sinbi gym or Rawaii the last time I passed through
The AKA facility seems to be the real deal
Hmmm AKA forgot about that one, might do first week in Rawai Supa then AKA for the next week as AKAs weekly package comes with all classes
Can't really see any gyms competing with AKA for facilities atm.
rawai not same same as rawai supa...
the bloke who is running that now , Ryan , from canada is a fairly sound guy
i cannot bear to see the shame that is in my ass. I should never have left my job at the salon.
LOL Wut??? ^
u remember the eels video?
WTF hawk lol
Lol I remember the eels, not sure why you felt the need to add it to this thread though mate hahaha
please share the eels video on this thread for people like me who don't know whats going on.....
their swimming feels bad
I have a feeling that I don't need to see that.
I am not sure.
put it up
Did a session at unit 27 today o strength and conditioning then 2 hours later a hard muay Thai session at Rawai Supa, loving it here right now!
Glad your having a good time!
Rawai Supa is the new owner of old Rawai Muaythai. Great guy, used to or possibly still own the stores around the camp back when Tuk owned old Rawai. I'm glad things are working out there.
you mean the Australian guy who also owned phromthep muay tha until he lost it to his Thai business partners?
Lol Rawai Supa. Still remember the website admin for Rawai Supa coming on here using his real name and pretending to be unaffiliated with the gym
I missed my bloody strength and conditioning class, got my timings mixed up, so now I am doing the 14.30 to 1600 strength and conditioning followed by a 20 minute bike ride to Rawai Supa and will be there till 1800!
Anyone think that is wrong without fucking myself up or will it be ok as I will be warmed up already?
?? You're making it sound like you're not warming up enough...
Haha, yesterday I got late muay Thai I didn't get a proper warm up so I had a shitty workout, today I woke up and am in the mood to do s and c so I guess I will do that mission, you only live once after all.
Plus atm at rawai it's not supervised much tbh cause the class is so huge it's mostly pads only where u are watched properly so it don't make a difference if I come in late I guess.
shut up dude. Rent a Scooter and be on point
I would care about strenght and cond conditioning, you can do that at home. I would save my strenght for the pad work
i did it before I did it before I read your msg rambu, I had a good pads session in the end tbh better than yesterday. Going to start 2 sessions a day now I am really slacking on technique.
