Hua Hin Gyms
Going down to Hua Hin
What gyms do you recommend?
Whats good about that gym?
Crispi at sitjaopor now and loves it.
Chanchai the 72kg max Muay Thai champ is at this small camp by a temple that isnt far from it either. I clinched him there in a drop in one off session and really rated it
what is the name of the gym chanchai is at. he maybe a bit big for me to clinch with only 60kg
There were other smaller Thai s also. I dont know the camp name. I got taken there by a Thai friend
Por Promin or Sitjaopho I'd think!
There is also a new gym called Sitkongdet might be worth checking out.
Yeah forgot about that
Interested to fine out more about Sitkongdet, apparently only recently opened tho so not to sure what the quality of training is like, doesn't seem to expensive imo tho and it has very good reviews on there Facebook page.
If you are in Hua Hin try to train with Oliver Coste. He is an amazing Muay Thai coach. He has lived and trained at some of the most hardcore gyms in Thailand for years.
yeh but why would you go all the way to Thailand to be trained by a Westerner.
Yeah if you are looking to only train with a Thai and he is probably not the best choice. If you are looking for a really great Muay Thai trainer in Hua Hin he is amazing. He has lived and trained in Thailand for around 15 years. He has really high level technique.
Por promin are a great gym. Kru kin for me was probably the best holder I ever had.
Grand Thaiboxing is turning out quite a few fighters at Max now, including Thomas carpenter. Gym owner Kaiselwit Ple has some good connections if you are looking to fight.
I was lucky enough to train with Oliver Coste briefly when he was at 301 MMA and he is a great coach, regardless of being western.
Heard good things about Sitjaopho, and seen some impressive footage of two of the trainers in action at the gym...
....Hu Hin has some great gyms!
