(Muay Thai Camp) A Review Of Elite Fight Club Phuket By Tiffanyf46
This is my Fourth trip to Thailand in the past year, I have been training Muay Thai just over a year. England- Very easy to get visa. The first time I trained here for 6 weeks and now so far 7 weeks ... Was recommended to me by a friend. The structure of the training is great, when you first arrive they get a feel for what level you are at and then structure your straining around that. The trainers are all great, each one has loads of experience and can offer you the best of their knowledge. They all have different strengths and each have something new to offer you...Which just means you are forever learning. Best ones about! If you have never stepped foot in Thai land it may take a couple of training sessions to fully understand each other. But their English is good, like with any trainer it takes a couple of sessions to 'get' each other. The equipment is good. Has everything you need...No fancy equipment just what's neccessary for Muay Thai. Can't say as there are many different options, e.g if you train once or twice a day... But very good value for money...Not as pricey as the commercial gyms for sure. Watched many fighters from the gym. Very impressive. None...not yet... :-O Very good. I didn't stay at the camp but I saw all the rooms and they look nice...Really clean, new and comfortable. Accom varies depending on how long you stay. I didn't stay here so can't give exact price...but I'm sure it was around 8000baht a month. No Plenty of places to eat near by, from Thai to your local cuisine...They have everything! Patong is 25minutes away, Kata 15 minutes these all have a really good nightlife. As for chalong it's more of an area for 'fitness' but there are still bars and a club just down the road. The Big Buddha and Chalong temple are pretty much on your doorstep. and many more things close by. This is my fourth trip to Thai land in the past 1 1/2 years. During that time I trained in a few big commercial Muay Thai gyms. On my third trip someone recommended me a smaller more traditional gym...This is when I found Elite Gym.
I really would recommend this gym to anyone-it has many fighters who hold various belts and titles; and also has beginners so really it is a gym for any level.
As it is a smaller, more traditional gym you really do get more focus on yourself and also having such an experience around you only means that you are forever learning here.
I would really recommend Elite Gym to anyone as it has all you need to train hard-great trainers, professional level of training and amazing atmosphere!
