(Muay Thai Camp) A Review Of Sitjemam Muay Thai By Yakimuay
I am 24 years and have studied muay Thai for about 5 years. This was my first trip to Thai land. . Trained for 2 weeks. I saw it at muaythailand and they had a nice presentation and I mailed them, got a fast and positive reply. Had a mail conversation and the friendliness and helpfulness from them made me decide to go there. Have nothing bad to say, you can be a novice or a pro when you come, they will give you the training you need. The experience the two main trainers had and their ability to organize trainings to fit individuals aswell as the whole group at the same time. I learned alot in my two weeks, more then I had imagined. The trainers are both funny and pedagogical which make it easy to learn. They have a very long experience of top level fighting. No communications problem at all, I come from Sweden the trainers are from Thailand and Italy. There was enough equipment for the training needed, it is not fully equipped gym wise, if that is what one will expect. 2 trainings per day.
I am very happy with the moneys worth. None. I had my first fight in Thai land and my first fight without shin or body protection. I had one fight and that is amazing because I were only there for 2 weeks. I won the fight I had excellent coaching from the trainer and I knew exactly what to do during the fight. was in 65kg. the fight I were at and saw were evenly matched in skill. The camp provide accommodation though it were full when I went there but they helped with finding other locations close to the camp to stay at at a fair price. hot shower, toilet, big bed, clean room AC and fan, refrigerator. 2400 for 2 weeks stay.
very worth it. it was a peacefull place and good surroundings. no. Though they did help with water supply. plenty of places to buy food at, close to town. could cost as low as 40 baht for a big plate of food. You will probably find atleast one to suit your taste. plenty of people it is a popular place for more then muay Thai . alot of things to see and do there. The camp also handle trekking and rafting which I would advice on trying out. First time in Thailand and have to say I loved it there. Kind people and helpful. The country is beautiful and though it became to hot some days for my taste it was mostly very comfortable weather, I was there during raining season.
The camp owners will try and answer any questions you have and make your stay enjoyable, they are very friendly and nice people.
Congratulations on the fight, very nice review
when were you there?
@mylittletony: in july this year.
how was the weather? I bailed out of pai in july a few years ago, the rain made me go insane.
Yes it was rain period then, but this year it was dryer then it usually is, so when I was there it did not rain much. I actually enjoyed it being cloudy most of the times, more then when the sun shone and it was too hot :)
