Weather In Koh Phangan
Is an air conditioned room required in koh phangan for the month of may?
How hot does it get in May?
I would be training there for a month and I am not sure whether an A/c room is needed or not.
If you use an A/C your body will never get a chance to adapt to the weather and you'll suffer during training.
I use no fan or A/c at all.
for the weather :
you might have lots of rain in May or if you are lucky clear blue skies, it depends
You need at least a fan, certainly if you're from colder, less humid climes.
Fans give me a headache, can't stand them.
That's unfortunate for you, but they don't give me, or the millions of others who have fans around the world, headaches. If they did, no-one would buy them.
my wife also complains about it, the wind in your face can give you a headache, or painfull shoulder etc, same goes for airco if you sit under it at work for ex...
my mother can not handle the air current of a car window that is slightly open....
when I used a fan I let it blow to the wall next to me to get some air flowing in the room.
in the end I just stopped using it at all...
i just googled it and many people complain about it
you made me think I was abnormal :-)
The thing about google is you'll always find someone complaining about something. According to google there are men who hate blowjobs, but I'd guess that compared to those that do like them, the hates are insignificant.
In summer even in the uk I have a fan blowing on me all the time. No headaches, no bad shoulders.
But still, if people want to spend time in Thailand without a fan, it's their choice. Try it for a few days and see how it goes.
i stayed a year in a very hot room in the Pinas, no fan no aircon :-)
your right about google
Men who hate blowjobs ? Must be faggot cocksuckers
May should be hot as fuck
May will be hot as fuck..Personally I enjoy the AirCon..Just don't put it down the 18* or you may struggle with the humidity outside when you go out..I usually keep it at around 23* or 24*and I am fine.. Nothing worse than laying in bed and sweating your guts out when your trying to get a good sleep/ rest in..Getting a good sleep is pretty important if your gonna be training most days..
When I was in Thailand spent two months in phangan had an air con room some the time the rest of the time in a hut with a fan and am going back in December and am planning the hut full time as with air con end up r,sleeping in, waking up with hangovers after drinking sessions, a fucked throat and not being able to nap between training unlike with the fan room.
I also hope when you are going to phangan that you are training at Diamond Muay Thai as it's hands down easily the best gym in phangan by a long shot IMO.
